An emotional Helen was led away by the police after her friend Kirsty Miller (Annabelle Dowler) turned up and called an ambulance to help the fallen Rob.

In fact the abuse plot resonated so much with one listener, Paul Trueman, who set up a fund encouraging people to donate money to women’s charity Refuge.
The Justgiving fund has now nearly reached its £100,000 target after thousands of people donated money.
The Archers is on BBC Radio 4 tomorrow at 2pm.
