The pair were talking to Marcella star Ian Puleston-Davies when Phillip asked him to recreate the cold evil look that has made his character Peter Cullen so chilling.
“Consider that I’m the director,” the presenter said.
“Is this the casting couch?” Ian asked.
Phillip laughed, “Well no, steady on.”

How do you think she got the job?
‘Casting couch mentality’ refers to the highly controversial stories of actors in Hollywood being urged to trade sexual favours for the role in a film.
Indicating Ruth, Phillip quipped: “How do you think she got the job?”
Feigning offence through her laughter, Ruth scowled: “Woah!”
Ruth was fronting the ITV daytime programme alongside Phillip as emergency cover for Holly Willoughby, who pulled out of the broadcast to care for her son.
