The Crown: Doctor Who co-stars Jenna Coleman and Matt Smith swapped royal tips
THE CROWN star Matt Smith has revealed that he swapped tips about the Royal Family with Doctor Who co-star Jenna Coleman before taking on the Netflix role.

Coleman, 30, appeared as Queen Victoria in ITV's successful periodical drama earlier this year.
Smith, 34, is currently playing Prince Philip in the new Netflix series, but admitted that the former duo discussed ideas as they are both playing characters from the Royal Family.
It turns out that Smith is playing Coleman's great great grandson in-law.
Speaking to Digital Spy about his regal discussions with Coleman, Smith said: "Yeah we did actually. And we did work out that technically, well I mean I'm not, but I am on the other side of the family, her great great great grandson-in-law.

"That's not a word is it? Is it great, great great great? I'm some sort of descendent. Great great great great great great great, yeah just great.
"So yeah it was nice. We did talk about that me and Jenna, yes."
Netflix hit The Crown follows Elizabeth II, played by Claire Foy, during her early days as Queen.

The series also explores her relationships with Philip and sister Margaret, played by Vanessa Kirby.
Delving into politics, the programme also looks at the relations between the monarchy and then Prime Minister Winston Churchill, played by John Lithgow.
Smith is set to be replaced after season two of the show and Elizabeth and Philip will be recast with older actors.
The Crown is available on Netflix now.
