Gloria Hunniford breaks down over her Strictly experience
The panel were discussing the possibility of Debbie McGee taking part on the BBC series after the death of her husband Paul Daniels when the 77-year-old began crying.
Gloria said she thought it would be brilliant if Debbie took to the dance floor to help with her grief as she had a similar experience.
After she lost her daughter Karen, she was offered the chance to take part on the show and admitted it was the best decision she made.
Speaking through tears, Gloria explained: "In my case, and I will try to say it without weeping endlessly, I thought I would never laugh or smile ever again because I was in such a deep spot.

Gloria said she went on Strictly Come Dancing to help with the loss of her daughter
"I was in such a black hole and my son Michael said to me, 'I find that so sad.'"
"So, when the call came in about me doing it, I couldn't find anyone to tell me not to do it," Gloria continued.
"It allowed me to laugh and have joy again and anything that takes your mind off grief helps.
Gloria said she thought she would never laugh or smile again
The Loose Women panel agreed that Gloria's daughter would be proud of her
"I will never forget the warmth and positivity that got me out of that black hole and allowed me to smile again."
Fellow panellist Lisa Riley said that she believes Gloria's daughter Karen would be so proud of how she performed.
