GMB: Piers Morgan announces his last day
Piers Morgan, 53, made a shock announcement on Good Morning Britain this morning, leaving fans aghast.
The TV host, alongside his co-star Susanna Reid, told viewers today he was going on holiday and tomorrow will be his last GMB show until September.
A representative for the hit ITV show confirmed to Express.co.uk the star and Susanna would be taking a break until September
Piers said: “It’s my last day tomorrow and I’m going to be completely demob-happy.”
But fans of the show had a mixed reaction to the news, with some saying they will switch channels for the seven week break.
You can’t go on holiday, that’s means I’ll have to watch the other side
Mrs Brockman said on Twitter: “You can’t go on holiday, that’s means I’ll have to watch the other side whilst you and @susannareid100 are off.”

From what journalist Piers was saying on TV today, tomorrow could see GMB producers on their toes thanks to pre-holiday excitement from the TV star.
Piers and Susanna aren’t the only ITV stars enjoying a break over the summer.

Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford will be taking over presenting duties from next week while they take time off.
The duo regularly step down from their presenting duties during the school holidays.
