Chase contestant says 'I'm dead' after teasing Chaser Mark Labbett
Today’s episode of The Chase saw presenter Bradley Walsh in hysterics after a contestant joked he would “die” if faced with Mark Labbett.
Bradley asked: “Okay, who do you want to take on?”
Contestant Pete explained: “I think the last person I’d like to see come across there would be Mark.
“But, if we could take him on and beat him at the last second, he’d get so frustrated.
“I’d want to see him destroy that desk.”

Bradley teased: “You’d be a hero in Cheshire mate!”
The contestant laughed before Bradley introduced the chaser.
It turned out to be Mark, prompting the contestant to shout: “I’m dead!”
Mark smiled and said: “Good afternoon Pete. Well, this is like chess.
“You can resign now and just walk off. I won’t mind!”
Pete then noted: “I’ll put up a bit of a fight!”
Mark added: “I’m not really a fan of DJs because they tend to et in my way.
“The only time I cross the dance floor is to get to the buffet on the other side.”
In the end, Pete made it through to the final chase, but the team were knocked out and lost £17,000.
