Anthony Joshua takes aim at Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder in cryptic post
ANTHONY JOSHUA has seemingly broken his silence on Tyson Fury’s proposed bout with Deontay Wilder.
Fury has been in talks to face the WBC heavyweight king for several weeks and a fight between the pair is seemingly close to coming to fruition.
The bout - which hinges on ‘The Gypsy King’ seeing off Francesco Pianeta this weekend - is expected to take place in December, though a location has not yet been announced.
The winter clash between the gigantic heavyweights is currently the talk of the boxing world, with many believing the winner could face Joshua in a mega-money unification bout in April.
Joshua remained silent on the potential showdown when news of the negotiations first broke, much to the surprise of many.
However, the Olympic gold medallist appears to have given his thoughts on the pair fighting one another on social media.
Earlier today, ‘AJ’ posted a picture of himself at the weigh-ins for his March bout with Joseph Parker to his Twitter and Instagram pages
The picture's accompanying caption read: “My enemies wanna be friends with my other enemies #AJBXNG.”
Joshua, the IBF, WBA (Super) and WBO heavyweight king, will next be in action on September 22 at Wembley Stadium, where he’ll defend his titles against Alexander Povetkin.

The Olympian is confident he’ll see off the Russian, so much so that he’s already focusing on a spring clash with Wilder.
“Me and Wilder is the best fight in the division right now, not me and Povetkin,” Joshua said.
“I want the big one, I am looking past Povetkin now. I want the big guns.
“I am going to walk through Povetkin and for Wilder the date and location is here.”
Should Fury upset Wilder, Joshua is more than willing to lock horns with his fellow Brit in April.
“There’s no stopping him [Fury] from stepping up,” the Watford native said. “If the Wilder fight didn’t happen, I would happily fight Fury [in April].”
Joshua reckons Fury, the former WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, IBO, Ring magazine and lineal heavyweight king, needs to lose a few pounds before fighting him, saying: “He’s still two stone over when he fought Wladimir Klitschko [in November 2015].
“Even though he’s lost weight he’s still two stone over his peak weight.
“When he’s a couple of pounds over, then I’ll say he’s at his peak again.
“Fury is not yet in condition. It’s up to him. When he’s ready, we’re ready.”
