Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing and Frank Warren’s Queensbury Promotions are set to meet in a thrilling showdown in Saudi Arabia this week. With the two leading rival promoters finaly amicably working together, there are a number of prospective fights that fans are dreaming of seeing - including Tyson Fury finally stepping into the ring with Anthony Joshua.

Earlier this year, Hearn and Warren - two of the biggest promoters in the world - agreed to a deal with Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority chairman Turki Alalshikh to stage a thrilling battle between Matchroom and Queensbury. The card features five fighters from each promotion going toe-to-toe on the same night.

Hearn and Warren have been long-time rivals for years, often firing shots at one another in interviews when their fighters are in action. However, Alalshikh is an enormous boxing fan and managed to ensure the duo agreed to work together to create the fighting extravaganza.

Perhaps the event will be the first instance of a new era for boxing as Hearn and Warren’s biggest names go toe-to-toe. The dream fight for many is Fury and Joshua given the pair of British former world champions have been linked with a bout for years only for nothing to come to fruition.

Fury recently lost his WBC title and his coveted undefeated record as the Gypsy King was outduelled by Oleksandr Usyk in their undisputed heavyweight title showdown. Meanwhile, Joshua has been steadily building himself back up after losing back-to-back fights to Usyk, including a crushing knockout of Francis Ngannou

While Fury is expected to face Usyk in a rematch later this year, the stage is set for him to finally face Joshua in a fight fans have been craving for years. It is not the only dream bout that fans are hoping to see amid Warren and Hearn’s renewed relationship.

Daniel Dubois, who is taking on Filip Hrgovic this weekend, could theoretically take on Deontay Wilder in a hard-hitting contest that would help set the rankings in the heavyweight division. Dubois is looking for a world title shot, but a lucrative - and tantalising - clash with Wilder could prove too hard to resist to help elevate his legacy and career.

Fans would also be desperate to see the undefeated Dmitry Bivol square off against Anthony Yarde. Bivol is the current WBA light-heavyweight world champion with an unblemished reord of 22-0, while Yarde is desperate to finally win a world title after twice coming up agonisingly short.

Hrgovic upset Zhilei Zhang to turn heads on the undercard of the second fight between Joshua and Usyk, but some thought he should have lost. Perhaps a rematch should be on the cards, especially if Warren and Hearn meet again in a nother blockbuster card.

Finally, fans are desperate to see the trilogy bout between Chantelle Cameron and Katie Taylor. Hearn recently said a third fight between the rivals will happen this year, with both fighters owning a win over the other after Cameron defeated Taylor before the Irish star hit back six months later.

Cameron inflicted the first professional defeat of Taylor’s career before the 37-year-old won a thrilling rematch by a majority decision to become a two-weight undisputed champion. On this list of five fights, Cameron-Taylor III is perhaps the most likely to get done.
