David Price may quit
DAVID PRICE is considering retiring from the ring following his second stoppage defeat inside five months by Tony Thompson.
The former Olympic medallist was halted by Thompson inside two rounds in February and although he enjoyed some early successes against the 41-year-old in Saturday’s rematch, he was again stopped, this time in the fifth round.
Price said: “We will have to see what is the best course of action to take. I can’t believe it has happened again.
“I am just devastated. I trained very well for the fight and I was on top but then it went horribly wrong. I don’t know what to do.”
