Manchester United news: All the latest rumours and gossip coming out of Old Trafford today
Pogba wants Barcelona switch
Manchester United star Paul Pogba is intent on joining Barcelona - and Mino Raiola has agreed personal terms with the Spanish giants.
The France star has been tipped to join the Spanish giants before the end of the month, when the European transfer window shuts.
And the Daily Mail say Pogba wants to leave United because of Jose Mourinho after numerous bust-ups.
They add that Raiola has agreed personal terms with Barca worth around £89.5m over five years.
It’s also claimed that Jose Mourinho has old Pogba he can leave Old Trafford - all he has to do is ask for a transfer.
Pogba hinted at unrest in the Old Trafford dressing room after United’s 2-1 win against Leicester, claiming: “There are things I can say and there are things that I cannot say, otherwise I will get fine.”
Guardiola on usurping United
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says his biggest challenge has been bettering United.
He said: “We have neighbours who, for 15 or 20 years, have always won.
"With Alex Ferguson they won every season.
“I think that my biggest challenge as a manager is to change that.”
City dominated last season as Guardiola’s men stormed to the Premier League title, breaking the 100-point barrier.
Zidane to Man Utd?
Former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is keen on managing in the Premier League and is keeping a close eye on United boss Jose Mourinho.
Zidane left Real Madrid in May, just days after guiding Los Blancos to a third consecutive Champions League with victory over Liverpool.
L’Equipe claim that Zidane wants to manage in the Premier League and is especially keen on taking charge at Old Trafford.
Mourinho is currently in charge at Manchester United though appears to be frustrated following a lack of significant transfer activity during the summer.
Reports previously claimed that United have Zidane on a shortlist of candidates if Mourinho was to leave at the end of the season.
