Cristiano Ronaldo: Juventus feel Real Madrid exit can lead to SIX transfer deals in future
CRISTIANO RONALDO’s decision to leave Real Madrid has Juventus confident of signing six players in the future, reports have claimed.
Ronaldo left Real Madrid for Juventus last month in a £105million deal and, despite drawing a blank on his Serie A debut against Chievo last weekend, has already reignited interest in Italian football.
The 33-year-old’s debut was the fourth most-watched game in Italian football history and shirts bearing his name have been selling at shocking speed.
Cristiano Ronaldo is more than just a vital asset on the pitch, however, with his status as one of the world’s biggest names proving to be a big pulling power.
Alex Sandro and Paulo Dybala are just two players who rejected the chance to leave Juventus this summer because of Ronaldo.
And Italian newspaper Tuttosport say Juventus feel they could land as many as SIX new recruits because of the Portugal international.
Ajax’s Matthjis De Ligt has been linked with Barcelona but is also on the radar of the Old Lady.
Federico Chiesa and Trinca, of Fiorentina and Braga respectively, are also keen to join Juventus because of Ronaldo.
Tuttosport say Lazio ace Sergej Milinkovic-Savic would supposedly jump at the chance to play alongside Ronaldo in Turin.
And the same can be said for Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic, who has been linked with Premier League duo Chelsea and Liverpool.
Ronaldo is set to line up for Juventus when they face Lazio tomorrow.
Yet speaking ahead of the match, Massimiliano Allegri insisted his star performer was not undroppable.
Allegri warned: “Ronaldo always puts himself in contention.
Wayne Rooney predicts Juventus will win league with Ronaldo
“He’s a true champion, who has built himself with work and sacrifice.
“He’s a good example and he raises the bar here.
“Ronaldo will never be on the bench, right? No, it can happen.”
Ronaldo has already found the net at the Juventus stadium in 2018, scoring twice as Real Madrid thumped the Serie A giants 3-0 in the Champions League last season.
