OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER has revealed Ed Woodward text him about the Manchester United job.

Solskjaer admitted he would never take a call from an unknown number but executive vice-chairman Woodward text the Norwegian and left his heart racing.
Solskjaer explained to Norwegian podcast Fotballklubben: “Ed Woodward was the one who contacted me about the manager job, it’s his responsibility so I think it would be him.
“We have a good relationship and keep in touch every day. We have a great relationship and we talk almost every day.
“He sent me a text first, I never pick up the phone if I don’t recognise the number.
“Ed wrote in the text it was him and we talked.
“My pulse was elevated, knowing it was him, and knowing what he could be asking.”

Solskjaer has been in charge since December following the sacking of Jose Mourinho.
The Norwegian is in caretaker charge until the end of the season though many are calling for the former striker to be given the role on a permanent basis.
It comes with Solskjaer having turned the fortunes of Manchester United around.
He remarkably led Manchester United to the Champions League quarter-finals this week.
The Red Devils were 2-0 down to PSG after the first leg at Old Trafford but turned it around to progress on away goals.
Romelu Lukaku bagged a brace in the 3-1 victory in Paris, and the Belgian insists the players want Solskjaer to stay.
"I know he's going to stay, there's no doubt about that," he told Viasport.
"He wants to stay, the players want him to stay.
“We're doing really well, we're playing like Manchester United should play.
"He's a young coach, he has young players as well so it's the perfect environment to develop and hopefully win trophies in the future."
Solskjaer gets another chance to enhance his credentials this weekend as Manchester United travel to Arsenal on Sunday (4.30pm).
