11.00 UPDATE: Liverpool transfer advice
Harry Redknapp agrees with Steve Nicol on the sort of player Liverpool need to sign this summer.
"Well I think you can improve any team," Redknapp said. "But what I would say is the back four is young, with [Joe] Gomez to come in as well.
"That is together there, with the goalkeeper, for the next seven, eight years. What a great basis for a football club to work from.
"The front three are just amazing. Maybe [they need] a little bit of creativity in the middle of the park but everybody can improve somewhere."

"But I tell you who I’ve seen – and I don’t think they could easily get him – the right-back at Wigan, on loan from Chelsea, Reece James.
"In that league he makes it look so ridiculously easy. I think he could make the step up. But of course he belongs to Chelsea at the moment."

Liverpool must target Leicester midfielder James Maddison to add some creativity to their workhorse midfield.
That is the opinion of Anfield hero Steve Nicol, who wants to see Jurgen Klopp tweak his team’s approach next year.
"Klopp’s recent three in the middle of the park for Liverpool, over the last couple of years particularly, has been about gaining possession back, about closing the opposition back, about working really hard and then getting the ball to the front three," Nicol told ESPN.
