Celtic team news: Predicted 4-2-3-1 line up to face Hearts - Lennon without TWO key stars
CELTIC take on Hearts in the final fixture of the Scottish Premiership on Sunday, but two key stars are set to miss out.
Celtic: I know how to win titles claims Neil Lennon
Celtic's concentration is now firmly on next week’s Scottish Cup final, which is also against Sunday's opponents - Hearts.
With the league title secured, Neil Lennon has a chance to rest players at Parkhead this weekend, with Kieran Tierney and James Forrest likely to be left out.
In positive news for Celtic fans ahead of the summer break, youngsters Ewan Henderson and Karamoko Dembele and both are expected to get playing time.
Lennon said: “James and Kieran probably won’t be involved at the weekend, but both should be fit for the cup final.
“Karamoko Dembele is a possibility for Sunday. He’s training with the squad this week, as is Ewan Henderson.
“We’ve got boys that are carrying knocks and we don’t feel the need to risk them ahead of the cup final.”
One player that won’t be involved is Marian Shved, who has returned to the club, following a loan spell at Karpaty Lviv, in order to begin his preparations for next season.
“Marian trained yesterday and he looked great,” Lennon added.
“We unfortunately can’t use him, but he’s a very exciting player.
“He’s done brilliant things in Ukraine, and looked right at home yesterday amongst his new team-mates at training.
“Again, he’s an exciting prospect to look forward to next year.
“He can beat players, good left foot, strong, quick, and he’s creative too. He’s the type of player we enjoy here at Celtic.”
