Pogba would 'jump at chance' to go to Real Madrid says pundit
Manchester United are willing to offer Paul Pogba a new contract in a bid to keep him at the club, according to The Times.
The midfielder still has two years left on his current deal, with an optional one-year extension.
But United want to persuade Pogba to remain at Old Trafford, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sees him as a vital part of his long-term plan.
The France international admitted that he was ready for a new challenge this summer, after the club failed to secure Champions League football for the following season.

He was the subject of high-profile attention from Real Madrid, as well as former club Juventus throughout the transfer window, but a move failed to materialise.
United held firm over Pogba, and their valuation wasn’t met by either club, meaning the World Cup winner stayed at the club, until January at least.
Solskjaer was adamant that Pogba was a crucial part of his plans going forward, and United hope that’s enough to persuade the midfielder to sign a new deal.
Pogba currently earns £144,000-a-week, and would surely be in line for a pay rise if he were to accept a new contract.
It’s unclear whether Pogba would be willing to continue at the club for the foreseeable future, after making it so clear that he wanted to leave.
He’s also spoken fondly of his countryman Zinedine Zidane, who is currently the manager of Real Madrid.
Zidane is also a fan of Pogba, and tried to secure his services this summer.
Real Madrid offered United £27million for the midfielder, as well as James Rodriguez. But, United turned the offer down.

United missed his presence for their trip to West Ham United this weekend, as Solskjaer’s team lost 2-0.
The club have now slipped to eighth in the Premier League table, and haven’t won an away league match for seven matches - a club record.
