Double joy for Jay
JAY SIMPSON’S double strike secured a convincing win for QPR over Cardiff.
Simpson scored his first two goals for the London club since joining on loan from Arsenal.
The 20-year-old striker had a slice of luck in the 19th minute, sliding in a loose ball despite looking offside.
He then doubled his tally after 40 minutes with a neat, low finish after good work from Wayne Routledge.
QPR boss Jim Magilton said: “We were excellent and executed our plan to perfection.”
But Cardiff boss Dave Jones admitted: “We never got going. i can’t accept performances like that.”
