FA Cup announce the first round draw
The first round proper of the FA Cup saw League One and League Two clubs joined the 32 non-league sides who came through the qualifying rounds. The ties unfolded across the weekend, with 40 places available in the draw for the second round.
Clubs will earn £22,629 for their first-round wins, while victories in the second round are worth £34,000.
Former Lincoln City and Huddersfield Town manager Danny Cowley, who led the Imps into the quarter-finals in the 2016/2017 competition, will be drawing the balls.
The second round of the FA Cup will be held across the weekend of November 27-30.
Premier League and Championship sides will enter the competition in the third round.
