Harry Kane's agent slammed as Tottenham star remains absent amid Man City interest

Harry Kane’s agent has been slammed for the contract he negotiated for his client back in 2018. Kane signed a six-year deal with Tottenham but is now seeking a move to Manchester City.
The contract has come under scrutiny in recent weeks with Kane desperate for a move to the Premier League champions.
And now former England full-back Danny Mills has joined the debate to have his say, launching a tirade against the person responsible for the terms of Kane’s deal.
Kane’s brother Charlie, owner of sports management business CK66 Ltd, has officially represented the England striker since December 2018.
But Kane’s agent at the time of the June 2018 contract was Marlon Fleischman.
Fleischman and Charlie Kane are believed to have worked together to negotiate the deal and were both pictured alongside the player when he put pen to paper.

While Mills didn’t name the agent he was directing his comments towards, he was scathing in his attack.
“The contract he’s signed is poor – there weren’t enough clauses put in it to protect his future,” Mills told talkSPORT.
“It’s also his agent being rubbish.
“Harry Kane decides what he wants to do. You sign a six-year contract, you have to be prepared to stay for that contract.
“It’s your own decision - you don’t have to be dictated to by the fans. You’re your own person.”

Kane has been a standout performer for Spurs and won the Premier League Golden Boot for the third time in his career last term as he returned 23 goals.
He is furiously hunting down Alan Shearer’s Premier League goals record of 260 and finds himself seventh on the all-time list with 166 strikes.
The wantaway striker believes he has a gentleman’s agreement with Daniel Levy to depart this summer after holding talks with the Spurs chairman last year amid initial interest from City.
Levy doesn’t appear to be playing ball though and Kane has been looking to force the 59-year-old’s hand by staying away from the Spurs training ground.
It could be a bitter divorce for Spurs and Kane as tensions continue to rise in north London.
"I'm really excited, it's a proud day,” Kane beamed after signing his Spurs deal three years ago.
“Obviously it's been a great few seasons and I'm looking forward to the future. I'm looking forward to the new stadium first and foremost and just to keep progressing as a club.”
“We'll look to go as far as we can. For us as a club, it's just about keeping improving and we'll work hard to do that.”
