Manchester United have confirmed their 31-man squad that will travel to the United States as part of their pre-season tour, as Erik ten Hag has been forced to make big decisions over several of his stars. The futures of Harry Maguire and Mason Greenwood especially remain in doubt, as the former captain has been named in the travelling party.
Greenwood, however, has not been named in the squad as the 21-year-old's internal investigation is still ongoing. He has not been training with the rest of the first team pending the outcome, though has been keeping fit with a personal trainer ahead of the upcoming season.
Fred also misses out due to a personal issue and Tyrell Malacia, who has picked up an injury. Fred is expected to join up with the squad shortly before they take on Wrexham, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund across the pond.
Ten Hag has curiously named four goalkeepers, including Dean Henderson who has been linked with a permanent move to Nottingham Forest, while Andre Onana is likely to be added once he has completed his medical ahead of a £47million transfer from Inter Milan.

Maguire has attracted interest from several clubs including West Ham, though the England man is not expected to force a move away and the Red Devils also will not push him out of Old Trafford as they would need to sign a replacement and are likely to have to continue paying a sizable portion of his wages upon his exit.
Ten Hag has not been afraid to promote from the academy and the likes of Alvaro Fernandez, Dan Gore, Hannibal Mejbri, Kobbi Mainoo, Facundo Pellistri and Omari Forson will all hope to impress the boss in the US having been included in the squad.
