Tottenham target 'agrees terms' with transfer rivals as recruitment plans hit fresh snag
Tottenham are looking to sign at least one centre-back for Ange Postecoglou in the summer transfer window.
Tottenham transfer target Tosin Adarabioyo has reportedly agreed personal terms with Monaco and would allegedly favour a move to the Ligue 1 club over joining Spurs this summer. The English centre-back is now in the final year of his contract at Craven Cottage and Fulham are ready to move the player on before the start of the 2023/24 season.
Tosin has not been involved in Marco Silva's match day squads for the club's Premier League Summer Series matches in the United States and Monaco, who also like Southampton's Mohammed Salisu, have now made their move.
They are said to have submitted an opening offer for the Manchester City academy graduate and are hopeful of concluding his arrival in due course.
French outlet Foot Mercato are reporting that Fulham have now agreed personal terms with the 25-year-old and there is confidence they can edge Spurs in the battle for his signature.
Tosin is valued at £13million by Fulham and Monaco's opening £4m offer falls well short of that figure.

The development comes as a blow for Tottenham who have faced countless setbacks in their attempts to sign centre-backs this summer, a process which has been subjected to huge delays.
Talks had looked positive for Wolfsburg's Micky van de Ven but it appears Spurs have since had a change of heart on the Dutchman as discussions have gone quiet.
Edmond Tapsoba of Bayer Leverkusen tops their shortlist but the Bundesliga club are continuing to drive a hard bargain.
BayArena chief Simon Rolfes said earlier this week: "No, not under normal circumstances! It is clear that at some point there are always limits. But Edmond is a very important player.

"He is one of the top players of our team, without question. He still has a long contract. Therefore, there is no reason for us to think about handing him over.”
Ange Postecoglou recently said on Spurs' centre-back transfer plans: "We’re looking to bring in at least one.”
Tottenham are also expected to shift several defenders including Davison Sanchez, who is closest to the exit door.
Spartak Moscow have had a bid accepted by Spurs but the transfer is not likely to materialise and a number of other European clubs including Real Betis, Strasbourg, Fenerbahce, Villarreal and Galatasaray are keen.
Joe Rodon is also expected to depart following his loan stint with Stade Rennes in Ligue 1 last season.
Besiktas are also exploring a loan deal for Spurs centre-back Japhet Tanganga although Tottenham want to include a permanent clause.
Spurs have already spent £116m on a host of summer signings including the permanent arrivals of Dejan Kulusevski and Pedro Porro.
James Maddison, Manor Solomon and Guglielmo Vicario have also come through the door as Postecoglou seeks to drive Tottenham back into Europe next season.
