Brad Jones granted World Cup 2010 leave
AUSTRALIA reserve goalkeeper Brad Jones has been granted leave from the World Cup 2010 camp to return to Perth because his son has been diagnosed with cancer.
It is not known whether the Middlesbrough goalkeeper, Brad Jones, will fly back from the World Cup 2010 and the Australian federation (FFA) have revealed they are in discussions with FIFA about the need to call up a replacement.
Adelaide United goalkeeper Eugene Galekovic has remained with the Socceroos despite missing out on the final
23-man squad.
First-choice keeper Mark Schwarzer has fully recovered from a thumb injury and should face Germany on June 13.
