Arsenal put on show for £43m striker as agent spotted at Old Trafford after 'meeting'
Arsenal have been widely tipped to sign a new striker ahead of next season.
The agent of Arsenal target Benjamin Sesko was in attendance at Old Trafford to watch the Gunners beat Manchester United over the weekend. Mikel Arteta has been widely tipped to add a new striker to his squad in the summer, with Sesko among the names to have already been mentioned.
Sesko's agent, Elvis Basanovic, was spotted at Old Trafford during Arsenal's narrow victory over United which kept their Premier League title hopes alive and kicking. However, it remains to be seen if a move to north London will come about, with Basanovic having reportedly staged a recent meeting with another club.
AC Milan would appear to be the early frontrunners for Sesko's signature after meeting up with his representatives, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. The Italian giants are said to be on the lookout for another striker to replace Olivier Giroud, who is widely expected to seal a move to the MLS.
Sesko is thought to be a priority target for Milan, who are reportedly willing to pay around £43million to sign him from RB Leipzig. However, his agent's presence at Old Trafford suggests that he is keeping his options open regarding a potential summer move.

The forward, who was previously linked with a move to United, has scored 17 goals in 43 appearances for Leipzig this season. He remains tied down until 2028, having joined the German side from Red Bull Salzburg in a £20m deal last summer.
Other reports have suggested that Sesko previously had a release clause of around £43m, which is said to have risen to £56m thanks to his strong form at Leipzig. It has been claimed that it could increase even further to around £64m if Sesko continues to impress in Germany.

Sesko is not the only striker to have been linked with a move to Arsenal, who are said to have plenty of other irons in the fire. The likes of Ivan Toney, Alexander Isak and Viktor Gyokeres have also been tipped to move to the Emirates Stadium when the bidding opens.
Arteta has already teased his desire to sign a free-scoring striker, telling CBS Sports after Arsenal's defeat to Bayern Munich last month: "We have been the team that has scored more goals in the Premier League from everywhere, because the reality is we don't have a striker that is going to score 35 or 40 goals.
"So we have to live with that, we have many other qualities. Today is a day to stick behind the players, because they have given us so much and have taken us on this journey."
