Pep Guardiola swears and bursts into laughter after 'likeable' Man City question

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola swore in his response to a question during his press conference as he was asked about fans of other football teams "liking" his side. Guardiola is eyeing a fourth consecutive Premier League title on Sunday, which would be achieved by victory at home to West Ham, but took a moment to laugh and break the tension ahead of a nervy final day of the season.

When asked "if people like your football team" on Friday, Guardiola was bemused and said "F***!" before breaking into hysteric laughter that the Spanish coach struggled to contain.
He later added "I don't know", despite recently being in a stadium with many opposition fans cheering on City, with home supporters at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium giddy at the idea that defeat for Spurs would deal a major blow to neighbours Arsenal and their title hopes.
Though Guardiola is fully aware that the job is not complete and his side will face a difficult task against a West Ham team desperate to send David Moyes off in style, with the Scot leaving at the end of the season.
"We'd like to be 3-0 up after 10 minutes (vs West Ham) but it will not happen," Guardiola said. "I have a feeling it will be like Aston Villa (in 2022, needing a late comeback to lift the title). We are ready...
"Knowing the players, they never, never give up. We haven't seen them since the day after Spurs, and we see today how is my vibe seeing the players. But I have the feeling they are there, trying to win the Premier League again."
In a reflective mood, the ex-Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss was happy to talk about the players that have come and gone under his watch who have helped City take up a position where they are aiming for an unprecedented fourth league title in a row.
"Everybody talks about Sergio Aguero (goal vs QPR in 2012)," he said. "But without the corner from David Silva and (goal from) Edin Dzeko, it wouldn't have happened..."
Though Guardiola was not willing to compare the different title-winning teams: "Don't ask me to choose between the five Premier League titles that we won. All of them were so difficult, a lot of effort behind, and after the game on Sunday, ask me my feelings. My feeling now is all about West Ham, there is no contamination in my brain..."
