West Ham's star man Jarrod Bowen has expressed his desire to remain with the club despite Newcastle showing interest, according to reports.
The England international, who has scored 20 goals in all competitions this season, is on Eddie Howe's radar ahead of the summer transfer window.
However, after signing a lucrative contract extension until 2030 last October, Bowen is not planning on going anywhere according to the Daily Mirror.
Furthermore, West Ham have no intention of selling him as they are currently concerned about the future of Lucas Paqueta, who has been charged with breaching FA betting rules. He had previously been expected to join Manchester City this summer.
Bowen and his family are devoted to the London club, and he is seen as the face of Julen Lopetegui's revamped project. The Spaniard was named West Ham's replacement for David Moyes earlier this week.
Bowen, 27, would only consider offers that could help him achieve his Champions League dreams, but even then, there are no guarantees he would leave.
Liverpool have been keeping an eye on Bowen for some time, with recently-departed manager Jurgen Klopp a huge admirer of the forward, but nothing has come of it.
At this point in Bowen's career, it would take a life-altering transfer and a staggering fee to lure him away from the Hammers.
After signing a lengthy extensive contract extension last year, the winger stated: "This club gave me the opportunity when no one else wanted to. It's only fair that I repay that faith. I want to stay here and I want to stay here for the rest of my career."
