Manchester United 'reach agreement' with Benfica for Ezequiel Garay
MANCHESTER UNITED have reportedly reached an agreement over a deal for Benfica's Ezequiel Garay.
The 26-year-old has been high on United's wish list for a while and he was recently reported to be house hunting in Manchester.
Moreover, it was thought that United had a 'gentlemen's agreement' in place with the Portuguese outfit to sign him.
And according to a report in Italian paper Tuttomercato, United have struck a deal for £17.2m.
United are in need of another defender, especially with Nemanja Vidic missing United's pre-season tour through injury.
Garay was a permanent fixture for Benfica last season, as they finished runners-up in the Portuguese Liga to Porto.
He guided his side to the final of the Europa League.
