Celtic defender Kelvin Wilson and Burnley striker Charlie Austin set for Nottingham Forest
NOTTINGHAM Forest hope to complete deals for Celtic defender Kelvin Wilson and Burnley striker Charlie Austin this week.
Forest had a £1.5million bid for Wilson rejected by Celtic last week, but City Ground boss Billy Davies is ready to increase his offer.
The 27-year-old left the Championship club two years ago to head to the SPL, but could be set for a return to Nottingham.
Burnley hitman Austin failed a medical at Hull City earlier in the summer as a proposed £4.5m switch to the Premier League new boys fell through.
And while Clarets boss Sean Dyche is hopeful of keeping the 24-year-old, QPR and Forest continue to be linked with bids.
"I’ve got no thinking other than he’ll be here (on Saturday) unless I’m told different," said Dyche.
