MANCHESTER UNITED have risked starting Wayne Rooney for their quarter-finals second leg of the Champions League with Bayern Munich.
The England striker is said to have had a pain-killing injection in his toe, which he injured during the 1-1 first leg draw at Old Trafford last week.
Shinji Kagawa comes in for the cup-tied Juan Mata, while Darren Fletcher replaces the injured Marouane Fellaini in the centre of midfield.
The Bundesliga champions bring in Mario Gotze for Bastian Schweinsteiger, who was sent off in the first leg against United.
Dante also returns after missing out on the Old Trafford fixture due to suspension.
