Tony Pulis hails 'fantastic' Crystal Palace players after reaching 40 point mark
TONY PULIS was quick to shower praise on his Crystal Palace players after reaching the 40 point mark.
The Eagles all but secured their Premier League status courtesy of a 3-2 win away at Everton in midweek.
Jason Puncheon and Yannick Bolasie have been singled out for praise in recent weeks by Pulis, but he was keen to emphasise the togertheness of the squad when hailing their achievement.
"It has been fantastic and we have had great results. West Ham though will be a difficult game," he said.
Pulis conceded he hadn't envisaged Palace getting to the 40 point mark so quickly from when he took over.
It has been chalk and cheese. The players have taken on board what we have tried to
"If you said we would have done this, I wouldn't have believed you," he added.
"It has been chalk and cheese. The players have taken on board what we have tried to. The players have been fantastic."
"There have been a lot of changes. It has been trying to make everyone realise what we needed to do. The Premier League is the toughest league in the world."
