REVEALED: How Mourinho's Chelsea could look NEXT season (with Costa and Courtois in!)
JOSE MOURINHO is planning a summer overhaul at Chelsea after his side's title hopes were left in tatters.
The Blues' 2-1 defeat to Sunderland on Saturday was Mourinho's first loss at Stamford Bridge as Blues boss in 77 games.
And with Chelsea now all but out of the title race - although they would be back in contention should they beat Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday - their focus now falls on success in Europe.
Mourinho's men travel to Atletico Madrid for tomorrow night's (7:45pm) Champions League semi-final first leg in the Spanish capital.
Chelsea will come up against two players who could be in their line-up next season, in the shape of striker Diego Costa and goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
Mourinho wants the pair in his team next season, while Everton's Romelu Lukaku could return with Samuel Eto'o and Fernando Torres moving on.
Southampton's Luke Shaw is Mourinho's top target to solve his problem left-back position, although he may opt to save his money and offer Patrick van Aanholt a chance in the first team, or stick with this season's stand-in Cesar Azpilicueta.
Here is what Chelsea's team could look like for NEXT season...
Formation: 4-2-3-1
Thibaut Courtois; Branislav Ivanovic, Gary Cahill, John Terry, Luke Shaw; Nemanja Matic, Ramires; Willian, Oscar, Eden Hazard; Diego Costa.
