Chelsea and Newcastle yet to bid for Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
BORUSSIA DORTMUND have confirmed that Chelsea and Newcastle are yet to bid for striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
25-year-old Aubameyang failed to nail down a regular starting spot under Jurgen Klopp last season and he faces a challenge next season because the German club have signed Italian Ciro Immobile from Torino.
Despite Aubameyang having a release clause in his contract, neither Jose Mourinho or Alan Pardew have moved for the Gabon international.
Dortmund general manager Michael Zorc told BILD: "Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is a player of Borussia Dortmund. We have received nothing in this respect."

The striker's dad even shot down rumours linking his son with a move to England.
"There is no truth in those rumours," Pierre Aubameyang said about the speculation. "My son will carry on at Borussia Dortmund.
"He likes it at the club and the club did a lot to help him settle. No one from Dortmund has told us that they are out to sell my son - much to the opposite."
