Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal's Sami Khedira switch CERTAIN as Real Madrid find successor
MANCHESTER UNITED, Chelsea or Arsenal look certain to acquire German international Sami Khedira next summer after reports Real Madrid have identified his successor.
Real Madrid are looking to replace Sami Khedira with fellow German Christoph Kramer
Spanish sources claim Carlo Ancelotti is keen on signing Khedira's fellow countryman Christoph Kramer from Bayer Leverkusen.
The 23-year-old would cost somewhere in the region of £12m, and could benefit from the presence of midfield maestro Toni Kroos to aid his development.
Both men operate in the same defensive holding role, and considering Kramer infamously replaced Khedira in the final of the World Cup - he is thought of as an ideal candidate.
Sami Khedira Player Profile
The news will not please Tottenham who are considering stepping-up their efforts to sign Kramer.
The Argentine boss currently has a surplus of defensive midfielders in Ryan Mason, Paulinho, Etienne Capoue and Mousa Dembele, but none have sufficiently impressed the 42-year-old.
Meanwhile United, Chelsea and Arsenal will be overjoyed by the confirmation that Khedira is on his way out of the Bernabeu.
The Premier League trio will not have to pay a fee for the 27-year-old, but will have to cough up wages thought to exceed £100,000 per-week.
