Liverpool handed BOOST as Daniel Sturridge returns to training
DANIEL STURRIDGE has handed Liverpool a timely boost by returning to full training for the first time since August.
Daniel Sturridge trained with Liverpool yesterday – the first time since August
Sturridge took part in a session at Melwood yesterday following his recovery from a calf injury and tweeted: "Training was class. Happy to be back."
The England striker suffered a thigh injury on international duty at the start of September and was then forced to abort his comeback after picking up a calf strain in his first training session back last month.
Liverpool have struggled in his absence, winning just five of the 14 matches he has missed of which two have been in the Capital One Cup.
P.s training was class. Happy to be back. Thank you Jesus.

Manager Brendan Rodgers will hope to have Sturridge back in his squad for the trip to Crystal Palace on November 23, though he will have to give careful consideration to how he manages the forward's comeback.
Liverpool travel to Bulgaria three days later for the must-win Champions League tie with Ludogorets.
