The Gunners secured their 12th FA Cup, becoming the most successful side in the competition's history, by beating Aston Villa 4-0 at Wembley.
Theo Walcott, Alexis Sanchez, Per Mertesacker and Olivier Giroud were on target as Arsenal ran riot.
And Wilshere, before his antics, claimed the performance can push them for a title challenge.
He said: "This season we've made a big step mentally. I remember in previous years going to big games, Man United, Man City, Chelsea, thinking 'have we really got a chance today?
"But this year we have done well. We always thought we had a chance. That's a big step."
