Chelsea transfer talks: Negotiations to begin as Blues seek to slash £5.7m off star deal
CHELSEA will reportedly begin talks with Roma director Walter Sabatini over a £5.7million difference in valuation for midfielder Radja Nainggolan.
Chelsea are keen to sign Radja Nainggolan
Sabatini was spotted at Stamford Bridge yesterday after flying in from Rome.
Chelsea are interested in Nainggolan after confirming Italy head coach Antonio Conte will become their new manager this summer.
Conte, 46, will join the Blues once Euro 2016 is over and has already earmarked a number of targets.
And The Guardian claim one of those men is Belgian Nainggolan.
The 27-year-old has has played 40 games for club and country this season, picking up 13 yellow cards and one red.
According to the claims, Chelsea value Nainggolan at £28.3m, but Roma want much more for their prized asset.

Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport claim the Serie A club want at least £34m.
Sabatini is in London to reportedly open talks over a transfer and is unlikely to budge easily from Roma's valuation.
And that leaves Chelsea, who failed last summer to sign defender John Stones after failing to meet Everton's price, seeking additional reserves for their top target.
