The Blues have been linked to Belgium forward Lukaku and face competition from Manchester United to land his signature.
The Daily Mirror claim Everton will not sell their prized asset for anything less than £65million this summer.

Romelu Lukaku - Spotlight on
Chelsea's withdrawal means United are the only Premier League team pushing for Lukaku's signature - although there is realistic interest in the player from abroad.
Both Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus are claimed to have tracked the former Chelsea forward over recent months.
Mega-rich PSG would likely have no problem matching Everton's valuation as they seek a replacement for star man Zlatan Ibrahimovic, whose contract expires this summer.
And Juve - closing in on a fifth straight Serie A title - are plotting a large-scale squad building project to remain competitive with Europe's Champions League elite.
