Kevin Mendez has confirmed Liverpool did make an offer for him last year
Nigerian duo Jacob Njoku and Chidera Ejike will fly to the UK for trials with Liverpool this weekend, their agent has confirmed.
“We just received the visas now through UPS. Njoku and Ejike are ready for the trials," he told AllNigeriaSoccer.
"They have been training and both are 100 percent fit.
“We will travel on Saturday to the UK, their trials with Liverpool will last for two weeks.”
Borussia Dortmund have reportedly agreed a deal for Stade Rennes striker Ousmane Dembele - beating Liverpool and Bayern Munich.
German newspaper Sport Bild claim the Bundesliga side have settled on a bargain fee of just £4million for the forward who has been tuning heads in Ligue 1 this term.

Roma centre forward Kevin Mendez has claimed Liverpool did make an official offer for him in the January 2015.
He told Italian outlet Cesolo La Roma: "These are situations that do not depend on me.
"Liverpool, PSG, and Roma had made a concrete offer and with my agent I decided to come here because Roma are a strong team who work well with the young players."
Mendez was with Uruguayan side Penarol at the time of Liverpool's interest, having emerged as a promising talent at the South American U17s Championship.
