Liverpool rocked as Barcelona craft plan to convince £20m ace to stay
MARC-ANDRE TER STEGEN could yet stay at Barcelona this summer, according to reports.
Marc-Andre Ter Stegen could be on his way out of Barcelona this summer
Ter Stegen arrived at the Nou Camp in 2014 at the age of just 22 but failed to break into the first team initially after picking up an injury in pre-season.
Claudio Bravo was given the starting berth and the German stopper has struggled to displace his team-mate.
Ter Stegen has been Barcelona's first choice in cup competitions but has played just four times in La Liga.
And according Catalan newspaper Sport, they will offer him a bumper new contract in order to keep him at the club but he will still be behind Bravo in the pecking order.
It seems unlikely that Ter Stegen will accept the terms and Liverpool and Manchester City are both ready and waiting to swoop should talks break down.
