Everton to welcome back Tim Howard for Bournemouth clash as club prepare for farewell
TIM HOWARD will be given the chance to say goodbye to Everton’s supporters on Saturday when he returns to the line-up for the game with Bournemouth.
Tim Howard's last Premier League game was in January in Everton's 2-1 defeat to Swansea
The American international is leaving at the end of the season to join Colorado Rapids, but will play at Goodison tomorrow and also on the final day of the campaign against Norwich.
Current No1 Joel Robles will play in the away games at Leicester City and Sunderland.
Howard, 37, has not played for Everton since the home defeat to Swansea at the end of January and has endured a downturn his relationship with supporters this season after they criticised his form.
He sarcastically applauded fans when they cheered him catching a cross in one game.
Everton manager Roberto Martinez – who is set to include youngsters Kieran Dowell, Matthew Pennington and Tom Davies in his squad – is braced for a hostile reception as he fights to avoid the sack.
