Man Utd transfer news: Diogo Dalot move DONE, official announcement expected soon
MANCHESTER UNITED have completed their second signing of the day, according to reports.
Diogo Dalot reflects on his year at Porto
Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fred was officially announced on Tuesday afternoon, completing his £52m move to Old Trafford.
However, Jose Mourinho has wrapped up another transfer by completing the signing of Porto star Diogo Dalot.
The 19-year-old has finalised his medical at Carrington and an official announcement is expected soon, according to Manchester-based journalist Craig Norwood.
"Diogo Dalot to Manchester United is done," he tweeted.
"The 19-year-old has complete his medical and agreed personal terms.
"Official club announcement in due course."
The youngster has only played eight games of first-team football for Porto, one of which coming in the Champions League against Liverpool at Anfield last season.
However, Dalot has proved his worth for Portugal at under-21 level, catching the eyes of numerous European heavyweights.
Mourinho has moved quick to secure the starlet's signature, agreeing to pay over the £17m release clause to ensure United beat their rivals to the right-back.
Dalot is expected to be the long-term replacement for Antonio Valencia.
The Red Devils are expected to be busy throughout the window.
And Mourinho is reportedly eyeing more moves for stars like Marco Verratti and Toby Alderweireld.
