Liverpool transfer news: Jurgen Klopp has succeeded in signing Emre Can replacement
LIVERPOOL boss Jurgen Klopp has already landed his Emre Can replacement, according to reports.
Jurgen Klopp: Emre Can out for rest of the season after injury
Liverpool have already confirmed Can will leave the club at the end of the month after the player failed to agree terms on a new contract.
The Germany international, who signed for the Reds from Bayer Leverkusen in 2014, played a starring role as Klopp’s side reached the Champions League final.
However, his days at Liverpool are numbered with the World Cup star likely to sign for Serie A giants Juventus.
Fans can be forgive for hoping the Reds splash out on a stellar replacement.
Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has been linked, particularly in the wake of the England international’s decision to quit the Emirates.
However, the Daily Mail say Klopp has already landed his man.
Liverpool concluded a deal for Fabinho earlier this month, with the Brazil international joining from Monaco.
That deal came out of the blue, with Manchester United and PSG previously appearing frontrunners for his signature.
Yet the report claims that Fabinho is Liverpool’s Can replacement - suggesting no other midfielders may sign.
Liverpool are, however, still expected to spend big this summer.

They appeared close to a deal for Lyon hotshot Nabil Fekir at the start of the month, with the France playmaker even posing with the club’s shirt.
However, Liverpool chose to pull out of a transfer because of doubts over his knee injury.
Another top target, Thomas Lemar, has left Monaco for Atletico Madrid.
But Liverpool remain linked with attackers with Julian Brandt and Riyad Mahrez both supposedly on their radar.
