Man Utd transfer news: Bale still keen on Real Madrid exit, Ronaldo and Neymar key to deal
MANCHESTER UNITED could yet raid Real Madrid for Gareth Bale with Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar reportedly key to any potential transfer.
Manchester United want Real Madrid star Bale to spearhead their Premier League title charge next season.
Though the Red Devils have explored a deal for Chelsea forward Willian, it is the Wales international who is understood to be their priority transfer target.
Manchester United have long wanted Bale and, with the player hinting at unrest after the Champions League final last month, they are on red alert.
And Spanish newspaper AS say the forward is still weighing up his options.
He struggled for game time towards the tail end of last season with Zinedine Zidane benching him for the second Champions League final on the trot.
Bale is set for showdown talks with new Los Blancos manager Julen Lopetegui.
And he is reportedly still considering his next move with United ready to welcome him to Old Trafford with open arms.
AS add, though, that Ronaldo and Neymar are key to any deal.
Should Ronaldo leave - United are again interested - then that may see Bale stay put.
The 28-year-old has played second fiddle to Ronaldo throughout his time in Spain, despite joining from Tottenham for a then world-record £86million fee in 2013.

But if they land Neymar as his replacement, that may force Bale out.
Again, he is unlikely to continue to play second fiddle to anybody - whether it be Ronaldo or the Brazilian.
At United, he would be their talisman.
And he could even take the No 10 shirt which is currently vacant following Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s move to the MLS in March.
