Gary Lineker makes hilarious IKEA joke during Sweden vs Switzerland World Cup match
GARY LINEKER was once again on good form at the World Cup today during Sweden’s last-16 clash with Switzerland.
The BBC Sport presenter and former England striker has often mocked teams and players while analysing their performances during the tournament.
And today it was the turn of Sweden to be on the wrong side of one of his gags.
Sweden wasted a number of opportunities in the first half against Switzerland.
And Lineker referred to Swedish department store IKEA at half time.

I mean they couldn’t hit an IKEA door with a hammer
“Some shocking Swedish finishing we’ve seen,” he said.
“I mean they couldn’t hit an IKEA door with a hammer. I mean, really.”
The joke had the pundit panel of Jermaine Jenas, Alex Scott and Phil Neville in fits of laughter.
Yesterday Lineker mocked Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois after their dramatic win over Japan.

Courtois had claimed England No 1 Jordan Pickford was too small to be a goalkeeper.
So Lineker was quick to bring that up when analysing Japan’s second goal.
“Do you think Jordan Pickford might have saved it?,” he jested.
Sweden went on to beat Switzerland 1-0 and will play either England or Colombia in the quarter-final.
