Man Utd transfer news: Jose Mourinho to offer England star Jesse Lingard bumper new deal
MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly set to offer Jesse Lingard a bumper new contract.

Lingard has shone for England at the World Cup in Russia, scoring a stunning goal against Panama.
The 25-year-old also starred for Manchester United last season, scoring eight Premier League goals and laying on five assists.
That led Jose Mourinho to tie Lingard to a four-year deal worth around £75,000-a-week in April.
But now, just three months on, The Sun report that United are willing to double Lingard’s wages.
At £150,000 every seven days, that would put the attacker alongside some of United’s top earners.
It’s believed Lingard is highly-rated by Mourinho and the Three Lions star recently spoke highly of his Portuguese boss.
“[Mourinho] has been great with me,” Lingard said.
“He’s put that trust and faith in me to play me in big matches week-in, week-out.
“It’s only up to me to repay that faith by playing well and putting on good performances.
“He’s played a massive part in my development and I can only thank him for that.”
Lingard has helped England to the World Cup quarter-finals where they now face Sweden on Saturday (3pm).
It comes after a dramatic penalty shootout victory over Colombia on Tuesday - the first time the Three Lions have won through that method in the World Cup.
