Roy Keane makes Paul Pogba claim ahead of France vs Croatia World Cup final
PAUL POGBA has starred for France at the World Cup and is a big reason why they are favourites in today’s final against Croatia.
That is the opinion of ITV Sport pundit and former Manchester United captain Roy Keane.
Pogba has started all but one of France’s games so far at the World Cup.

The 25-year-old has often lined up alongside N’Golo Kante and Blaise Matuidi in midfield, so has been given the freedom to venture forward.
He is yet to score or provide an assist in his five appearances to date.

But Keane has been impressed by Paul Pogba's all-round play and, even though he gives Croatia a slight chance, expects France to lift the trophy later today.
“Well we keep writing off Croatia, I’m a bit wary of doing that now,” the Republic of Ireland assistant manager said.
“But France, the shape they’re in, their attacking players, they’re pretty decent at the back.
“I think Pogba’s been really excellent the last few games, so they’re clearly favourites.

“I’m not writing them off, but I fancy France.
"These players are used to pressure, they all play for big clubs.
"It shouldn't be a problem to them, dealing with the pressure side of it."
Pogba has been named in the France starting XI by manager Didier Deschamps for the final.
