Mario Mandzukic: Croatia star makes stunning Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus revelation
MARIO MANDZUKIC has admitted he 'doesn't care' about Cristiano Ronaldo's £105m move to Juventus.
The Croatian will have a new strike partner when he returns to Turin after the World Cup.
Ronaldo's stunning Real Madrid exit sent shockwaves around the footballing world this week.
But for Mandzukic, he isn't thinking about anything else other than Croatia's World Cup final with France later this afternoon.
“I don’t care about that”, he told Croatian media on Saturday evening when asked about Ronaldo's Juventus move.
“The win against England was the biggest achievement of my career, until Sunday.”
Mandzukic netted the winner against Gareth Southgate's men on Thursday evening, sending Croatia to their first ever World Cup final.
The striker is now attracting interest from across Europe after his showings in Russia, with Manchester United reportedly showing an interest earlier this summer.
And numerous reports in Italy suggest Borussia Dortmund have had a bid rejected for Mandzukic this week.
Highlights of Mario Mandzukic's career at Juventus
“Mandzukic will surely remain at Juventus, from next season he will be playing as a striker again, no more as a winger," said Massimiliano Allegri earlier this summer.
Croatia take on France in the World Cup final at 4pm this afternoon in Moscow.
