PHILADELPHIA EAGLES’ Super Bowl winning quarterback Nick Foles has defended rival Tom Brady.

The New England Patriots star never found Foles for a traditional post-game handshake following the Eagles’ 41-33 win in February.
Brady was widely criticised by fans and media for appearing to be a sore loser and failing to congratulate his opponent.

It was Foles’ first Super Bowl win and came after a season-ending injury to Carson Wentz just weeks earlier.
The Eagles man picked up an MVP award for the game but he doesn’t see Brady’s appeared snub as intentional.
“Originally, when everything happens, everything happens so fast,” Foles told Philadelphia’s Fox 29.
“The clock hits zero, you’re taking a moment, you’re hugging the people around you that you’ve gone through this journey with and then all of a sudden every media outlet in the world is around you.
“You’re trying to move and you’re trying to find them. It’s probably hard to find me because everyone was around me.
“So, after some time passed I think he probably eventually left the field. I guarantee you he was probably initially trying to find me.”
Brady has won five Super Bowls with New England Patriots having been drafted by the AFC East side in 2000.
