Ronnie O'Sullivan clashes with Mark Allen during tense game
The Northern Ireland Open gets underway on Monday, November 16, and will run until Sunday, November 22. However, due COVID-19 restrictions, the event will not take place in Belfast this year. The Northern Ireland Open will instead take place at snooker's temporary home of the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes.
Judd Trump will defend his title for the second time, with the likes of Ronnie O'Sullivan, Neil Robertson, Mark Selby and Mark Allen also in action.
Following last year's 9-7 win over O'Sullivan, Trump said: "It feels amazing to win again.
"To defend any title is always difficult but to do it against Ronnie is extra special. The game was free-flowing, we were both scoring heavily and I think it was good to watch as well.
"I knew it was important to get a good start against him because anyone who goes behind to him can just get steamrolled.
"I have to up my game every time I play Ronnie to have a chance. The fans in Belfast were amazing once again, as they were last year."
