Chad Le Clos comes through to win 200m butterfly final
CHAD LE CLOS had to work hard to win the 200m butterfly final at the aquatic centre in Barcelona.
The South African who upstaged Michael Phelps at the Olympics last summer, added the world title to his gold in London after winning in a team of 1min 54.3 seconds.
Le Clos tried to attack from the off, but struggled to pull away from Pawel Korzeniowski, who was the oldest swimmer in the field.

The South African was checking to see where the rest of the field was rather than concentrating on his swim which nearly prroved costly
Korzeniowski and Le Clos were nearly matching each other stroke to stroke but Le Clos pipped the Pole to the wall.
China's Wu Peng claimed bronze.
