D’Arcy regret
GORDON D’ARCY has promised there will be no repeat of the howler which led to Ireland’s home defeat by France when they face Scotland this weekend.
Centre D’Arcy, fortunate to retain his place after allowing Aurelien Rougerie to run over him in Dublin and put Maxime Medard away for the crucial try, is again facing bigger midfield opponents at Murrayfield.
But D’Arcy, above, insists he has learnt the lessons ahead of taking on Nick De Luca and Sean Lamont.
“I put my hand up. I got my feet caught and you can’t do that against guys that size. It will never happen again,” said D’Arcy.
