Fly-half Jones will play his 100th Test for Wales against the Barbarians next week.
But he knows all eyes will be on Henson (above) following fears that the return of the outspoken star, forced to apologise to team-mates for comments in his autobiography, could spark unrest within the national squad.
But Jones said: “No-one in the team looks at the past, it’s irrelevant. The most important thing is his work ethic and doing the best for the squad.
“In that respect, Gav has been totally professional.”
